Have cabin fever? Spring in Lake Murray Country is here and the weather is warming up. It’s time to escape cabin fever and book your getaway this spring to a cozy cabin, a luxury yacht or even a tiny house on Lake Murray. We’ve compiled a list of five unique rentals around Lake Murray that you’ll want to check out.
#1 Cozy Cabin with a Gorgeous View
Rustic charm abounds in this cozy cabin…located on a quiet cove on Lake Murray and will accommodate up to six guests. There’s just one bedroom but it has three beds in it! There’s also a top bunk loft, which is perfect for the kids. One of the reviews states that “this little cabin was perfect! It has a rustic feel with small whimsical touches. The dock is a great place to sit and relax in the early evening.”
If you never want to leave the boat and you’re looking for something a little different or romantic…we suggest staying aboard the luxury yacht docked at Lake Murray Marina and just steps away from Liberty on the Lake restaurant. The 42-foot yacht has two bedrooms aboard and one bathroom. There’s a hot tub that guests can soak in while taking in the beautiful sunset. You can’t beat this unique rental experience!
#3 Large Lake Murray Home with Dock
If you’re planning to come with a crowd, book this large Lake Murray rental home that sits on 166 feet of waterfront with a private dock and lots of entertainment space. The four-bedroom home sleeps twelve guests. The open concept kitchen and living room has a view of Lake Murray from every angle. There’s an outdoor grill and kayaks waiting on the dock for you.
Although tiny houses are more popular in the northwest and northeast, we’ve found a tiny house that has all of the essentials for an amazing getaway on Lake Murray. This home is located in Saluda County and has one private bedroom with a queen bed. The second “bedroom” is a loft space with a king size bed on the floor. The full bathroom has a standup shower stall. The kitchen is fully equipped with enough dishes and a dining table for 4 guests. The outdoor space is spectacular on this tiny home which includes and outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. Guests can also enjoy the new fire pit, picnic table, propane grill, and of course, the private dock and water frontage.
A log home called “Turtle’s Nest,” located in Lexington County, is another great option and has room for you to bring family and friends along. There are three living spaces and four bedrooms, with room for eight guests. The deck includes an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, dining table, hot tub, and a cozy conversation area with Adirondack chairs. The private dock on Lake Murray can accommodate 1-2 boats and two jet skis, depending on sizes. Turtle’s Nest is in a great location, just a half a mile from Southshore Marina on Lake Murray.
