Welcome to Nooch & Lalo our Mix Mex Fusion Restaurant. My Name is Nick Kole and I am the "Nooch" half of the story. Jose Parra-Kole is the Lalo part of our name. The name is derived from our childhood nicknames.
I grew up in northern Michigan with Canadian roots. We ate hearty mid west North American meals made with love and for comfort. Jose grew up in Central Mexico. They were raised on traditional Mexican meals. Jose's father "Chente" (our torta is named after him and our carnitas recipe is his very own) owned a chain of taquerias in their home town, which gave Jose the desire for his own place her in USA.
We have spent the past ten years happily mixing our traditions and recipes and decided to take the leap and share our recipes in form of fantastic meals you cannot get anywhere else guaranteed
