Description:
Even though this is an in city trail, the thick woods gives it rural feel. Starting from the parking area of Memorial Stadium, this easy walking dirt trail starts by following a small creek. When you reach the far edge of the woods, turn left and cross the creek. At approximately .25 mile the trail turns left and loops back. There are several spurs where you can vary the direction or length of your walk. You can also enhance your walk by playing Frisbee golf as you go from one basket to the next. A variety of birds frequent this area and although you may not see them; you will hear them.
In warm months insect repellent is recommended.
Length:
0.6 mile.
Fees:
No fee.
Directions:
From downtown Columbia, drive south on Assembly Street and turn left onto Rosewood Drive. Drive for 1.2 miles and turn right onto
