In 2015, the Blowfish began play at the new Lexington County Baseball Stadium. Players are recruited from colleges and universities from across the state, region and nation including the USC Gamecocks, Clemson and Coastal Carolina. The team has twice been voted Coastal Plain League Organization of the Year. The team is locally owned by Bill and Vicki Shanahan.
The stadium’s capacity for baseball is 3,000 and provides fans with a pleasant and intimate ballpark experience. It includes an expanded concourse, bowl seating for a more intimate field view, Wrigley Field style box seats, a rightfield berm, leftfield lawn seating and an enclosed air conditioned hospitality club.
