Over 45 years ago, the first Lizard’s Thicket was opened in Columbia, S.C., by Anna and Bob Williams. Despite expanding to multiple locations across the Midlands of South Carolina and Florence, S.C., the core values remain unchanged. The restaurant continues to be family-owned and operated by Bob and Anna’s children and grandchildren, upholding a tradition of authentic regional Southern home cooking enjoyed by generations.
With over 600 employees and 13 locations today, Lizard’s Thicket is dedicated to serving families with home-cooked meals at excellent value, seven days a week. As always, the invitation remains the same: “y’all come!”
