Loveland Coffee

Beach Loveland has been passionate about coffee and building community through it for many years. With over 15 years of experience in the specialty coffee industry and more than 20 years in the service industry, Beach has honed his craft. Together with his wife, Jessica, they envisioned creating a space that brings people together through coffee and faith. This journey began with Beach becoming a barista and managing a coffee house in a nearby town, with the ultimate goal of opening a storefront in Irmo, South Carolina.

In the summer of 2016, Beach launched his own roastery, specializing in small-batch, single-origin, certified fair trade organic coffee. In 2017, he traveled to San Francisco, CA, to study at Boot Coffee Campus and earned prestigious Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) certifications, including the SCA Certified Roastmaster designation after extensive coursework and hands-on training.

By late 2019, the Lovelands found the perfect location for their roasting facility and the largest café in the Columbia area. After months of hard work and construction, Loveland Coffee opened its Café & Roastery in Irmo in the winter of 2020.
