Annual Oyster & Pig Roast at City Roots Farm – 12th Year Celebration

One of Columbia’s favorite events returns on February 1 at City Roots Farm. Barrel and Vine Productions Friends will be roasting pork and preparing a variety of sides, while Kristian Niemi roasts clusters of fresh South Carolina coastal oysters from Folly River Shellfish over an open fire all day long.

Tickets & Details:
General admission tickets are $65 and include all-you-can-eat pulled pork, oysters, mac and cheese, local collards, cornbread, slaw, and baked beans. Guests are encouraged to bring shucking tools, gloves, and koozies.

VIP Tickets:
Limited availability—only two tables of eight available. VIP includes a chef’s oyster table next to the chef shed, exclusive dishes from chefs, a magnum of champagne per table, and dedicated service.

Entertainment & Extras:
Live music will set the atmosphere, along with cozy fires and shucking tables. A cash bar will be available, accepting both cash and credit. Stoney Creek Cigars/South will also be on-site, offering premium hand-rolled and infused cigars featuring the finest Dominican tobaccos and top-shelf spirits.

Important Information:

  • This is a limited ticket event, with pre-sale only—no tickets available at the door.
  • Gates open at 12:30 PM, with food served until 4 PM and oysters available until 4.
  • No outside food or beverages allowed.
  • While dogs are loved, they should stay home for this event.
