The Lexington County Museum is pleased to host historian and writer Robert F. Moss for a talk on the history of barbecue in South Carolina and Lexington County. This presentation will look at the origins of pit-cooked meats in the New World and trace the development of barbecue in South Carolina from the colonial era till today, with a special focus on Lexington County.
