Experience the magic as Saluda Shoals Park comes alive in millions of sparkling lights. Journey through more than two miles of lights featuring colorful, animated light displays of all shapes and sizes! Create lasting family memories this year at Holiday Lights on the River.
HOLIDAY LIGHTS ACTIVITIES (included with admission)
- Slide down the winter wonder tube slide
- Ride the hayride or the Saluda Shoals train through the lights
- Enjoy a laser light show on the Wetland Trail
- Color and write a letter to Santa in the Environmental Center
Santa’s Claus’et Gift Shop will be open for holiday shopping. Concession from Tin Can Kettle Corn, beer, and wine will be available for purchase.
No concessions or activities Thanksgiving night, Christmas Eve, or Christmas night.
SANTA AT HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Santa will visit Holiday Lights November 24-25, December 1-2, and December 8-9, and Dec. 15-23. Professional photos and photo packages will be available for purchase.

DIRECTIONS
The Holiday Lights entrance is located at 6071 St. Andrews Road between Wendy’s and Aldi.
All Holiday Lights traffic will enter at the east entrance of Saluda Shoals Park at 6071 St. Andrews Rd., Columbia, SC.
From I-26 –
Option A1 – take exit #102A, Lake Murray Blvd., follow Lake Murray Blvd to St. Andrews Rd. and turn left onto St. Andrews Road. Stay on St. Andrews Rd. for approximately 2.9 miles. The entrance to the park will be on the right between Wendy’s and Aldi.
Option A2 – take exit #103, Harbison Blvd., follow Harbison Blvd. to St. Andrews Rd. and turn left onto St. Andrews Road. Stay on St. Andrews Rd. for approximately 1.8 miles. The entrance to the park will be on the right between Wendy’s and Aldi.
Option B – take exit #104, Piney Grove Rd. and turn left. Follow Piney Grove Rd. to St. Andrews Rd. and turn right on St. Andrews Rd. Make an immediate left between Wendy’s and Aldi and proceed straight into the Park’s East entrance. On busy nights, it may be difficult to make a left into the park and there have been times when officers directing traffic will not allow traffic to merge into the left lane.
From Interstate 20 – exit at Bush River Rd. Turn west on Bush River Rd. and continue to the traffic light at St. Andrews Rd. Turn left onto St. Andrews Rd., then left again between Wendy’s and Aldi and proceed straight into the east entrance. On busy nights, it may be difficult to make a left into the park and there have been times when officers directing traffic will not allow traffic to merge into the left lane.
