Hootie & the Blowfish, known for Darius Rucker’s soulful vocals, rose to fame in 1994 with hits like “Hold My Hand.” Contrary to the misconception of overnight success, they worked hard for a decade, forming at the University of South Carolina. Their self-produced album, “Cracked Rear View,” signed by Atlantic Records, sold over 16 million copies in the U.S. alone.

The album’s success brought Grammy Awards and acclaim, making them a top band. After leaving Atlantic in 2004, they continued touring independently. In 2019, after a hiatus, they returned with a sold-out tour and a new album, “Imperfect Circle,” their first in nearly 15 years, marking their enduring musical legacy.

Tickets are available online only at Ticketmaster.com on the first day of the general public on sale. Any remaining tickets will be available for purchase online & at the Prisma Health Box Office inside Colonial Life arena on the next Ticket Tuesday.
