Noel Freidline presents A Jazz Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald at CMA
Friday, February 17 @ 6:30 pm$35.00
Doors at 6:30 p.m. | Concert at 7:00 p.m.
Often referred to as “The First Lady of Song,” Ella Fitzgerald was America’s most popular female jazz singer for over 50 years and represents the pinnacle of jazz performance achievement. A 13-time Grammy Award winner and seller of over 40 million records, Fitzgerald has inspired for decades and continues to do so today. CMA fan-favorite jazz musicians Noel Freidline and Maria Howell are two of those artists that can’t quite shake the force of Lady Ella’s enduring luster. Join Howell and the Noel Freidline Quartet as they present the best of Lady Ella from the hits that launched her — “A-Tisket, A-Tasket” and “Someone to Watch Over Me” — to “Summertime” and her raucous rendition of “Mack the Knife.”
Individual tickets: $35 / $28 for members / $5 for students.
Four-person tables (includes one bottle of wine): $200 / $160 for members.
