Get ready for a spooktacular time at the Pumpkin Run!
The 2024 Pumpkin Run 5K & Kids’ 1-mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 19th, at the NorthWest Family YMCA in Irmo. Dust off a favorite costume, lace up those running shoes, and enjoy a fun-filled event that combines exercise, support for a great cause, and celebration of the fall season.
The Kids’ 1-mile Fun Run offers a spooky adventure featuring trick-or-treat stations, a bouncy house, the Spooky Bus, and family-friendly fun for everyone.
All 5K participants will receive a commemorative race medal and t-shirt. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign, providing financial assistance to community members who rely on the Y’s programs and services.
Registration Fees:
- Fun Run: $10 for the run, $15 with a t-shirt
- Early Registration: $30, includes run and t-shirt
- Race Day Registration: $35, t-shirt based on availability
Packet Pick-Up:
- Friday (All day) at the NorthWest Family Y (1501 Kennerly Rd, Irmo)
- Race Day (Starting at 7:00 AM at the NorthWest Family Y)
Race Day Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – Packet pickup & late registration
- 8:00 AM – Kids Fun Run
- 8:30 AM – 5K Race Start
- 9:35 AM – Awards Ceremony
- Until 10:00 AM – Fall Festival (Games, crafts, and food trucks)
Costume Contest:
Show off the best Halloween costume and compete for prizes. Participants must be registered in the race to be eligible.
