A master storyteller and multi-instrumentalist, Sean’s one-man show offers heartwarming tales and nostalgic tunes that capture the essence of life in the American South.

Sean Dietrich, known as “Sean of the South,” brings together music and storytelling in a one-man show that reflects life in the American South. A multi-instrumentalist, Sean started playing mandolin at age seven, guitar at eight, and piano in church at nine. His performances include a mix of nostalgic songs, anecdotes, and observations.
Sean’s storytelling is influenced by figures like Will Rogers and Mark Twain, focusing on themes of love, heartache, joy, and renewal. His work has appeared in *Newsweek*, *Southern Living*, *Reader’s Digest*, and *Garden & Gun*. He is the creator of the *Sean of the South* podcast and has authored eighteen books, in addition to making appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.
