Storytime in the Garden at the Hampton-Preston Gardens

Enjoy stories, songs and activities with Richland Library and Historic Columbia staff in the Hampton-Preston Gardens.

This event is free and open to children of all ages. (Register on the Historic Columbia Website)

Know before you go:

• We will provide a quilt for you and your family.
• You are also welcome to bring camping/folding chairs or your own quilts.  Consider bringing sunglasses, sun hats, sunscreen or bug spray–whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
• Snacks and water are welcome.
• Hampton-Preston Gardens are located at 1615 Blanding Street | Columbia, SC 29201.  The gardens are accessible for strollers and mobility devices.
• Free parking is available on Blanding and other surrounding streets.  Metered parking should be clearly marked.
