Description

Artist5 Kids will bring together the talents of 15 inspiring students, each representing a different artistic discipline, for a unique event that blends creativity and collaboration. In groups of five, the students will explore the intersection of literature, art, music, cooking, and fashion, each drawing inspiration from a selected piece of literature.

This event offers students aged 14-18 the chance to showcase their skills while working alongside mentors in various creative fields. From an author selecting a passage from an existing work to a visual artist, musician, fashion designer, and chef each creating a piece inspired by the same reading, the event promises an unforgettable fusion of ideas and expression.

The evening will conclude with a reception where attendees can sample small plates created by the student chefs, providing a chance to interact with the talented participants and celebrate their accomplishments. Sponsors, local media, and community members are all invited to support and engage with the next generation of creatives in this exciting event.
