The Parker Quartet Beethoven Cycle at Rutledge Chapel

Description: In celebration of its tenth anniversary as artist-in-residence with The University of South Carolina, the Parker Quartet will perform the complete Beethoven cycle over the course of six concerts in a special partnership with Historic Columbia. The very first building constructed for South Carolina College — originally known as South Building — Rutledge Chapel opened its doors in 1805. It contained a dormitory, lecture hall, chapel, and library. Join us at one of USC's most historic locations for the Parker Quartet's performance of these Beethoven quartets:
Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 127
Quartet in F Major, Op. 18, No. 1
Quartet in C Major, Op. 59, No. 3
