Toucan Tuesday at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden

Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is teaming up with Harvest Hope Food Bank to bring back Toucan Tuesdays. Every Tuesday this summer, guests who donate two non-perishable food items will receive buy-one-get-one-free general admission and buy-one-get-one regular-sized ICEEs.

This offer is valid on general admission tickets only and does not apply to Explorer wristbands or Riverbanks memberships. Donation bins will be available at both the Zoo and Garden entrances, and there is no limit to how many times guests can take advantage of the promotion throughout the summer.

Most needed donation items include canned vegetables, canned proteins like chicken and tuna, one-pound bags of dried beans, and one-pound boxes of pasta. The goal is to collect 5,000 pounds of food—enough to provide approximately 6,000 meals to South Carolina families facing food insecurity.
