Nature Walk: Virginia Hylton Park

After breakfast, it’s time to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.One of the best nature walks/hikes is through Virginia Hilton Park along Twelve Mile Creek. Make sure to stop at the overlook to check out the waterfall. Also, you are never too old to swing on the swings. Lunch: O'Hara's Public House

You’ve most likely worked up an appetite after your hike, so head to O’Hara’s Public House in Downtown Lexington. Families love the warm and welcoming environment! Show time at the Newberry Opera House

After lunch, embark on a 45-minute drive from Lexington to picturesque downtown Newberry. The streets are lined with many shops, boutiques, restaurants, and the historic Newberry Opera House. Built-in 1881, the Opera House hosts national touring shows. Check out their season and get your tickets in advance!
