Itineraries Tween Family Playcation

2 Days of Tween-Friendly Locations to Visit in Lake Murray Country

Amy Hoffman is the Bookkeeper extraordinaire at Capital City/Lake Murray Country and is a full-time mom to twins – needless to say she has her hands full and knows the perfect spots to entertain both grown-ups and children. Amy shares that “as a mother to twin 10-year-old boys, I try to incorporate adventure with education whenever I possibly can!” Her tween-friendly planning advice includes: Involve your tween in planning your trip, encourage them to put away devices and enjoy the moment, and give them some space to run and jump around. Check out her tween #Playcation itinerary!

The previous Aquarium was always a must-see and we are eager to see all the new additions we have been tracking on the Zoo’s social media over the past year and a half.
