Holiday Open House & Gift Shop Sale: Tuesday, November 15
The Lake Murray Country Visitor’s Center will hold the annual Holiday Open House & Gift Shop Sale, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 and you’re invited! The Holiday Open House will take place from 10 AM – 5:30 PM at the Lake Murray Country Visitors Center located at 2184 North Lake Drive in Columbia.
Looking for Lake Murray gifts for your friends and family this holiday season? Look no further! The Lake Murray Country Gift Shop has you covered with Lake Murray merchandise ranging from t-shirts to home decor and more! New holiday items featuring the popular “Tis the Season to be Murray” slogan will be in stock on t-shirts, greeting cards, and kitchen towels. Grab these items quick, as they sell out fast!

Speaking of shopping local, make sure to check out our neighbor’s Fancy Pants & Poshture Boutique located at 2900 Dreher Shoals Rd, Suite F – In the Shopping Center next to B.B. Do you have family visiting from out of town this holiday season? Bring them by the Visitor’s Center to see the circa 1840’s planation house decorated in period holiday décor. The staff can provide you with information and brochures on the region’s attractions, hotels, events, dining, recreation, relocation, and much more. Learn about Lake Murray’s history, the construction of the dam, and view local artifacts. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, (9 AM – 4:30 PM), Saturday (10 AM – 2 PM) Sunday (11 AM – 2 PM). Veterans Day: Nov. 11
Thanksgiving: Nov. 23 at noon – Nov. 27
Christmas: Dec. 23-27
New Year: Dec. 30 – Jan. 2
Unfortunately, the Christmas Light Boat Parade will not be held this year due to Lake Murray’s water level. The Lake Murray Country Visitor’s Center wishes you and your family
