Columbia, S.C. — Capital City/Lake Murray Country (CCLMC) is proud to unveil the first member of the Southeastern BBQ Showdown’s (SEBBQSD) esteemed judging panel. Mark Henry, known as “The World’s Strongest Man,” will be lending his expertise and charisma as a judge at the inaugural event June 14-15. Standing at an imposing 6 feet 4 inches and boasting a storied wrestling career, Mark Henry’s involvement marks an electrifying milestone for the SEBBQSD.
Mark Henry is a powerlifter, Olympic weightlifter (’92 & ’96), strongman, and WWE Hall of Fame professional wrestler. It’s no wonder his nickname is “The World’s Strongest Man.” But there’s more to Mark than just muscles—he’s also a stand-up comedian who keeps audiences entertained with his quick wit and humor. In addition to his accomplishments, Mark is also passionate about fitness and healthy living. Through his Strong Kids program, he’s on a mission to inspire the next generation to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
